(Stavanger/Oslo, January 27, 2026) Rogaland County Council has signed an agreement with Noova Energy Systems for the provision of electricity and related energy services for a period of four years. The agreement covers county council businesses in Rogaland.

The contract has a value of NOK 240 million based oncurrent power prices. The agreement includes electricity supply as well as services related to energy efficiency and energy production.

Rogaland County Council has over time worked to reduce energy consumption in its own buildings and carries out several different measures in the area of energy use andenergy production. The agreement with Noova has been signed as part of this work.

Mats Vee Akselsen, Section Manager for Construction Operations and Maintenance at Rogaland County Council, says that the agreement has been concluded after an overall assessment of the county council's needs and objectives in the area of energy.

“The agreement gives the county municipality access to both electricity supply and professional support in energy efficiency improvement and energy-related measures. This is in line with our ongoing work to monitor the energy use of our own buildings,” he says.

Maria Davis, commercial manager at Noova, says that public companies are increasingly demanding holistic energy solutions.

“Several municipalities and county councils are looking for agreements that combine electricity supply with services related to energy efficiency and the development of energy solutions,” Davis says.

The agreement is valid from 2025 and has a duration of four years, with option on extension.
